About YPPC
The Young Peter Pan Committee (YPPC) was established in 1988 as a sub-organisation of Barnardos Australia, with the specific goals of raising social awareness and funding through the young adult demographic for Barnardos’ work with children.
Barnardos is one of Australia’s oldest charities and the country’s leading child welfare agency. Beginning its work in Australia in 1921, for over 85 years it has been at the forefront of child welfare services, embracing a tradition of innovation with a holistic approach to find real, permanent solutions for Australian children in desperate need.
Managed by a group of dedicated professional young adults, the YPPC has achieved it’s the majority of its fund raising though the hosting of social functions such as the well known Annual Colour Ball, Sydney Pyjama Party, Sydney Slumber Party, Mad Hatters Derby Day and Spring Break Party.
